Four Reasons’ cutting and coloring techniques gained attention in international hair media
Estetica is originally a magazine for professional hairstylists. It provide new releases, hairstyle ideas, cuts and techniques in the global hair industry, and is also widely regarded as one of the most influential professional hair media outlets worldwide. The magazine’s techniques section highlights internationally recognized methods and approaches that represent current, high-quality professional techniques from around the world.

Four Reasons Fusion Collection 2025 was selected for Estetica’s The Best International Techniques feature, where the collection’s Plushy look and its technical execution were presented.
Cut
The Plushy cut is based on controlled layering and a clear structural shape. The work begins at the back, where the hair is layered and over-directed toward the center back to create a lengthening line towards the front. A layered guide is cut at the crown using vertical sections up to the temples. In the front area, a diagonal vertical section is layered to fall longer downward, and over-direction is used to preserve length behind the ear. The top section is brought to the center and cut into a square layer.

Color
The color technique is based on a sliding technique, where the shade deepens section by section. The hairline is colored with the lightest formula, and each following section receives a slightly deeper tone by adding a small amount of the darker color to the previous mixture. The progression continues toward the highest point of the head, with the top section being the darkest. Fusion sections at the hairline can be added if a deeper shade is desired.
